Electric World an annual event that helps members and their employees stay on top of current topics in the industry. Educational course topics can include electrical trends, taxes, code updates, and business operations and management, all instructed by recognized authorities. NJECA Forum serves as a valuable communication link for members, reporting on individual association programs, national and local legislation, general news within the industry and information affecting all contractors.

Apprentice Program The future of our industry lies in the training of a quality workforce. September 1995 marked the kick off of our state and federally approved Independent Electrical Contractor (IEC) Apprenticeship Training Program.

Code Hotline manned by inspectors which offer a full library of code books and assistance in dealing with inspectors and local code officials.

Continuing Education Programs helps to fulfill mandatory state requirements as well as valuable seminars to help with your business careers.

NJECA Office is just a phone call away! The NJECA management team is always ready to assist you, whatever your questions may be. This office can assist with continuing education questions and complaints to the NJ Board of Electrical Examiners. It's here for you!

An Active Lobby Presence We're in Trenton to protect your interests. An association with the IEC to protect your industry nationally. The NJECA is the voice of our industry statewide.

Insurance Programs The NJECA helps provide quality, industry specific insurance programs. Programs may include health, disability, business and other insurances.

Credit Union allows access to a team that can assist you with your business and personal financial matters. Can obtain both credit and debit cards!

Meetings Board of Directors/Delegates meetings are scheduled eleven times during the year. Meeting of local associations which are monthly, offer the opportunity to meet with other contractors on a one-to-one basis. Many of these local association meetings offer monthly educational seminars.

Events The NJECA and its chapters often offer special events throughout the year, open to all members Annual Meeting held in November each year, offers the opportunity to be involved within the NJECA. Open to all members, voting is by local association. Come and get involved!

Guest Speakers and Programs brings ideas and information of considerable value to our members. Most programs will offer continuing education credit to attendees.You have input on the courses you want!

Installation Dinner/Dance held during our Electric World conference is the time we honor our new officers, present scholarship awards, present special awards for outstanding support to the industry and the NJECA and time to relax with food, drink, music and friends.

NJECA Logo as a member you can display our logo on your trucks, business letterhead, business cards and other advertising, which shows your support for and help promote the organization.

Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC) One of the chapters of the NJECA is the New Jersey IEC, where you may join this national organization, which give the electrical contractor a national voice within the industry. Membership fees are separate from your NJECA dues and are paid annually. Membership includes a monthly magazine, fax updates, programs, events and more.
