TGS Inc. Inside Sales Position

Technical Group Services, Inc. a Manufacturer Representative of energy efficient, environmentally friendly power distribution equipment and power quality test & measurement equipment. The Quality Companies we represent are the leaders in their field. We represent these manufactures in NJ, NY and parts of PA.

For 30 years we have represented ultra high efficient dry type transformers that have less losses than the current federal standard, liquid filled transformers incorporating soy bean vegetable oil, test equipment for energy-power and thermal imaging, power feasibility studies and power solutions.

Position: Full Time
Hours: 8am to 5pm
Location: Fairfield, NJ
Salary: TBD

•    Prepare Quotations for customers regarding various manufacturers.
•    Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales person.
•    Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
•    Using the current CRM database, follow up with quotations.
•    Attending meetings and sharing ideas at the brainstorming sessions.
•    If required, attend factory training and sales meetings.
•    Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions; participating in educational opportunities.
•    Manage data for new and prospective clients in CRM, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and documents are attached.
•    Potential growth position to Outside Sales.
•    Proven inside sales experience.
•    Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
•    Experience working with or similar CRM.
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
•    Strong listening and presentation skills.
•    Experience within the Electrical field.

Did you know that you can no longer install the gas piping required for a generator installation under the new state rule? You must now hire a HVARC contractor or plumber to perform this portion of the installation!

A new rule has been issued that requires that gas piping for generator installations be completed by a HVARC contractor or plumber.  The electrical contractor is NO LONGER allowed to perform this work!  Sign the petition to change this rule to allow electrical contractors to continue installing the gas piping for generators along with the rest of the installation!
